BEST OF BREED - THE VEGETARIAN WAY.. TO FEED YOUR DOG. Whether your purpose is to improve your dog's health through a vegetarian diet, or to improve your dog's karma..... more

Vegetarian Pet Food

you must take care to provide the necessary proportion of usable complete proteins in your dog's diet. Meats do provide the complete proteins a dog is able to use in building and maintaining it's own muscle composition. Ensure meats are lean to help keep your dogs fit.

As with human vegetarians, providing your dog with vegetarian meals means you must combine ingredients that, in combination, will amount to the proper assortment of amino acids for building mammalian muscle. Amino acids are the building blocks of biological proteins. In order to build and maintain muscle, whether human or canine, the protein synthesis and repair can only be completed when the correct amino acids are available through nutrition.
